After six months, the battery still holds enough capacity for my overnight essentials: refrigerator, Wi-Fi, lights, and heating controls. I am especially happy with the quiet operation and predictable solar self-consumption. I am not claiming it paid for itself instantly, but seeing fewer peak rates on every bill makes the investment feel worthwhile.
