Pre-Order FAQsHow is the PowerGlee 5 installed, and where can it operate?
The PowerGlee 5 is wall-mounted by design. The unit measures 500 × 448 × 164 mm and weighs about 50 kg, hangs on a wall bracket, and needs no rack cabinet and no floor space — hang it up, connect it, and power up.
Installation and operating limits:
- Indoor use only — IP21 enclosure, passive fanless cooling
- Built-in 125 A circuit breaker as a physical isolation point
- Charge temperature: 0 ℃ ~ +55 ℃ · Discharge: -25 ℃ ~ +55 ℃ · Storage: 0 ℃ ~ +35 ℃

Which inverters and monitoring platforms does the PowerGlee 5 support?
The PowerGlee 5 talks to your inverter over CAN or RS485, so it works with mainstream 48V-class hybrid and off-grid inverters (Deye, Victron, Growatt, GoodWe, Solis, Luxpower, Sofar and more — send us your inverter model and we will confirm the protocol profile).
Port layout:
- RS485A / CAN → to the inverter
- RS485B / RS485C → for coordinating parallel battery units
- RS232 → local service · dry-contact output → alarms or external devices

Can I expand the system later — how many PowerGlee 5 units can run together?
Yes — up to 16 PowerGlee 5 units can run in parallel, for 81.92 kWh of 48V-class storage. Each unit carries its own JKBMS JK100 BMS and reports its status over the communication bus, so units stay in step automatically.
Two rules to keep in mind:
- Parallel only — series connection (stacking voltages) is not supported; expand by adding parallel units
- Use RS485B/RS485C to link the units for parallel coordination, and RS485A/CAN for the inverter link

The PowerGlee 5 is a true 48V-class battery: 51.2 V nominal across a 44.8–57.6 V operating window, 100 Ah and 5.12 kWh per wall-mounted unit. It charges and discharges at 100 A continuously — 130 A for 25-second peaks — delivering 5.12 kW of continuous output and 6.66 kW of peak power for demanding loads.

Battery Backup for Home Your loads keep running when the grid doesn’t.
When the grid fails, the JK100 BMS takes over: over-voltage, over-current, over-temperature and short-circuit protection run continuously, a 125 A built-in circuit breaker gives you a physical isolation point, and an integrated aerosol fire-suppression module watches over the cells. Charging is rated from 0 °C to +55 °C, discharging down to −25 °C.
