Gobel PowerHarp 16 Whole House Battery Backup 16kWh 51.2V 314Ah

The PowerHarp 16 (GP-PB3-16K) is a 51.2V / 314Ah / 16.07 kWh prismatic LiFePO4 home battery built as a 16S1P pack. It is a floor-standing steel tower: no server rack, no wall bracket, no cabinet — set it down, connect it, power up.

How it is installed

• Stand the unit on a level floor indoors. The enclosure is IP21 rated, so it belongs in a dry utility room, basement or garage corner — never outdoors.
• Connect it to a 48V-class (51.2V) inverter over CAN, RS485 or RS232; a dry contact is available for alarm signalling.
• Commission the pack and set the charge/discharge limits in the BMS host software or the Gobel VRM dashboard.

The numbers that matter on site

• Enclosure (H × W × D): 850 × 480 × 280 mm; weight 120 kg.
• Passive, fanless cooling — no fans, no noise, nothing to service.
• Charge 0 °C to +55 °C, discharge -25 °C to +55 °C; an optional heating pad covers sub-zero charging sites.
• Installed altitude up to 3,000 m; storage temperature 0 °C to +35 °C.

The PowerHarp 16 talks to inverters over CAN, RS485 and RS232, and the compatibility matrix on this page lists 40 verified inverter brands — Deye, Victron Energy, Growatt, Sol-Ark, Goodwe, SMA, Solis, Luxpower, Schneider, Pylontech, Sofar, SunSynk, SRNE and more.

• Compatibility is per protocol, not per brand. The matrix shows separately whether a brand is verified over PCBMS CAN, PCBMS RS485, JKBMS CAN or JKBMS RS485 — the same brand can be fine on one port and untested on another.
• Pick the BMS to match your inverter. The BMS you order (JKBMS JK200 or PCBMS PC200B) decides which protocol rows apply to your unit.
• Confirm your exact model and firmware version with the Gobel Power technical team before deployment: inverter firmware revisions can change what a given brand supports. Custom protocol firmware mapping is available on request.
• The battery also reports to Gobel VRM, Home Assistant and ioBroker, so monitoring keeps working independently of the inverter link.

This listing is the factory-direct (China hub) unit. Units are dispatched from our China factory with 30–50 days delivery by sea or air freight; the production slot and sailing schedule are confirmed with you before dispatch, and door-to-door tracking is provided.

Freight terms — EXW, FOB, CIF and DDP are all available. Send us your destination port and we will quote freight, insurance and duty options before you place the order.

• Batteries travel on heavy-duty wooden pallets with shock-absorbing EPE protective packaging.
• OEM and private-label customisation can be discussed with our engineering team.
• If you are in the EU or Ukraine, ask us about the EU-warehouse stock of the same battery — transit from that hub is much shorter (EU countries and Ukraine only).

Expansion capacity depends on the BMS you order — and these packs are not series-connectable:

• PCBMS PC200B: up to 63 units in parallel, about 1,012 kWh on the same 51.2V bus.
• JKBMS JK200: up to 16 units in parallel, about 257.1 kWh.

Each unit delivers 150A continuous charge and 150A continuous discharge (200A for 25 seconds peak) at 51.2V nominal, and a 2A bidirectional active balancer keeps the cells level. Series connection is not supported, so capacity grows by adding parallel packs only.

Monitoring differs by platform: PC200B reports to Gobel VRM, Home Assistant and ioBroker over its Wi-Fi port and has no Bluetooth; JK200 adds Bluetooth on top of those. Before building a large bank, have our engineers review busbar sizing, cable layout and BMS grouping.

The PowerHarp 16 carries a 5-year standard warranty, upgradeable to a 10-year PRO term, and the pack is designed for 10+ years of service.
