Owning a solar battery has changed how I use electricity at home. I especially noticed the difference during cloudy weeks, when the battery still shifted usage away from the evening peak.

I did have one small troubleshooting moment. After a firmware update, the inverter stopped discharging at the scheduled time. The app showed “waiting for grid conditions,” which was confusing. I power-cycled the communications hub, checked the time zone, and called support. They corrected a time setting remotely, and normal operation returned that evening. Since then, I check the app once a week rather than obsessing over it.
