I noticed the switch only when the microwave clock reset.

My annoyance was a low-battery alert one morning. The app showed the battery at 18% even though the forecast promised sunshine. The panels were clean, but a tripped breaker had stopped solar charging after a windy night. I reset it, checked the connections, and called the installer to confirm that nothing dangerous was happening. The battery resumed charging within minutes. Since then I glance at the app after storms, although I do not obsess over percentages.

For me, this home battery is less about energy independence and more about making solar power useful after sunset.
