Running my home on a greensun powerwall battery has changed the way I think about electricity bills. Before installation, my rooftop solar panels made plenty of power at lunchtime, but I still bought expensive electricity after dinner. I checked the cable connections, restarted the gateway, and waited ten minutes. It came back without needing a service call. Since then, I have paid attention to software notifications and keep the gateway on a surge protector.

For me, the value is not having emergency backup. It is using more of my own solar electricity and buying less during the costly hours. The greensun powerwall battery has made that change feel automatic, and the operation means I think about it until I compare my bill.
