Owning a solar battery has changed how I use my system. Before installing storage, my panels produced plenty during the day, but I still bought expensive electricity after dinner.

One minor troubleshooting moment happened in January. The battery stopped discharging after a firmware update, even though the app showed operation. I checked the inverter first, then restarted the system using the shutdown sequence. After ten minutes, discharge resumed. Support later explained that the update had reset my schedule. I rebuilt the schedule and have had no repeat since.
For me, the value of energy storage is convenience as much as savings. I no longer worry as much about evening consumption, and the solar battery works quietly.
