I did have one small scare in July: the battery stopped discharging overnight after a firmware update. I power-cycled the inverter once, but that did not help. The support technician found that backup mode had been toggled off and talked me through turning it back on. It resumed normally the next evening, and I have not seen the problem again.

I was initially hesitant because the quote mentioned used lifepo4 cells, but the seller provided test results and a written warranty. The battery has stayed quiet, and its usable capacity still looks close to the original according to the app. I am not claiming complete energy independence; cloudy days still require grid power. But watching the battery cover our evening routine, while the meter barely moves, feels genuinely worthwhile for our household too.
