I did have one minor troubleshooting moment. After a firmware update, the app showed the battery at 100% while the inverter reported no discharge. I power-cycled the communication hub, waited five minutes, and restarted the inverter. The readings matched again, and the battery began supplying the house that evening. I now check the app weekly rather than obsessively over it.

For me, the biggest practical benefit is quieter budgeting. I can see my solar production, battery state of charge, and evening usage without guessing. I keep a 20% reserve for outages, although I have only tested backup mode once. It has turned surplus sunlight into energy I use. That matters most.
