After they updated the firmware, the behavior stopped. It was not a fault, but I appreciated having a person explain the solar inverter settings instead of guessing.

I am learning to shift loads, like laundry and dishwashing, into daylight hours. The battery does not eliminate every bill, and production will test my expectations.
