After six months with my home solar battery, the biggest change has been how little electricity I buy during the evening. The app showed it sitting at 78 percent while the house pulled grid power. I found that the update had reset my time-of-use schedule. Restoring the evening discharge window fixed it in about five minutes.
I chose batteries 280ah after comparing several solar battery sizes and reading about usable capacity, cycle life, and warranty support. I am glad I focused less on the biggest possible bank and more on matching storage to our daily load. The battery now feels like a quiet household appliance: not exciting, but dependable, visible in every lower bill, and especially valuable when the grid goes down.
