Having lived with my solar battery for six months, I notice the biggest difference after sunset. Before installing my home energy storage system, I sent much of my rooftop solar power back to the grid during the day and bought electricity during the expensive evening hours. Now, my battery carries the house through dinner, laundry, and most of the night.

That is a compliment in my house. The hybrid inverter charges it from solar in the afternoon, then automatically switches over when my utility’s peak-rate period begins.
On sunny days, I usually finish the afternoon at 95–100% state of charge. By breakfast, the battery is often around 35–45%, depending on whether we used the induction cooker or ran the heat pump. I keep a reserve setting so it does not completely drain, and that reserve has already helped during two brief outages. My only annoyance was a communications cable that loosened during the first month. The app stopped updating, but the battery itself kept working. Reseating the connector fixed it in five minutes. So far, this lithium solar battery has been quiet, predictable, and genuinely useful—not flashy, just a practical way to keep more of my solar power at home.
