The biggest surprise for me after getting our solar panels and battery storage wasn't the upfront cost, it was how much less stressful my electricity bill became. It's all powered by the sun we stored earlier in the day. My husband even jokes about how I’ve become obsessed with checking the battery’s charge level, but it’s a good kind of obsession. We've been looking into expanding our setup slightly to include more battery capacity, specifically considering an lto 24v module to supplement our existing system, as our energy needs have grown with the kids and their gadgets. It feels like we've gained a significant level of energy independence.
