I rebooted the inverter, checked the time zone setting, and re-saved the tariff schedule. That fixed it, and I now check the monitoring screen the morning after updates.
The practical win is quieter energy management, not complete independence. I keep grid connection for winter and cloudy spells, but no longer worry when oven and air conditioner run together.
