I discovered the inverter had switched to backup reserve mode after a brief grid flicker. Resetting that setting restored normal operation, and the problem never returned. The manual and installer support were helpful, but I appreciated solving it myself.

For me, the biggest benefit is not complete energy independence. It is predictable control: I use my own solar power when electricity costs most. The battery has also made me more conscious of when I run appliances. I would recommend comparing battery capacity, usable storage, warranty, and installer quality carefully, because the cheapest quote is not necessarily the best value.
