One minor troubleshooting moment happened in October. The app showed the battery at zero percent even though the inverter was running. I checked the battery isolator, found it had tripped after a brief outage, and reset it according to the manual. It resumed charging within a few minutes. That was reassuring, but I also added a label with the shutdown sequence so I would not have to search next time.

I am not claiming this solar power setup makes me energy independent. In winter, short daylight leaves less battery charge, and several cloudy days still mean buying electricity. Still, the combination of rooftop solar, lithium battery storage, and time-of-use scheduling has made our household noticeably cheaper to run.
