Even after two cloudy days, it still keeps the essentials running overnight.
The installation itself was fairly straightforward, although I spent longer than expected checking cable sizes, breaker ratings, and battery monitor settings. I mounted the unit in a dry utility room and left space around it for ventilation. The app showed state of charge, solar input, household load, and grid import clearly, which made it easy to understand where the savings were coming from.
I did have one minor troubleshooting moment. On a very hot afternoon, the battery stopped charging earlier than usual. I initially worried something had failed, but the monitoring screen showed a temperature protection warning. After improving airflow and lowering the charge current slightly, normal operation returned that evening. That small incident taught me not to chase maximum charging speed in summer; battery longevity matters more than squeezing out every last watt.
Overall, the storage system has made my solar setup feel calmer and more predictable. I check the app occasionally.
