My one real troubleshooting moment came in January. I noticed the battery showing 100% while the house was importing electricity. After checking the monitoring app, I found a loose communications cable between the battery management system and inverter. Reseating it fixed the readings immediately, although I now give every connection a gentle tug during monthly checks.

Overall, I like that this solar energy storage system feels automatic. I check charge before bed, but I am not managing it. Lower bills and backup make it worthwhile most nights.
