Powering my house after sunset used to mean watching the electricity meter climb while expensive evening rates quietly ate into our budget. This changed when I installed an spf 5000 es growatt compatible LiFePO4 Battery with a 5 kWh solar energy storage system beside my inverter.

I first blamed the lithium battery, then found the inverter had switched to backup only after a grid flicker. A restart and firmware update fixed it. Since then, I have kept the reserve at 20% so backup power remains available for outages. It has carried our modem, lights, and freezer through two interruptions without fuss. The quiet operation is another unexpected benefit; I barely hear it from the hallway.
