Every evening, I used to watch my electricity meter climb as soon as the sun went down. My rooftop solar panels covered daytime loads, but cooking dinner, charging devices, and running the heat pump during peak hours still pulled expensive grid power.

I did have one small troubleshooting moment in July. The app showed the battery at 100%, but the inverter was not sending power to the house. I checked the breaker, restarted the inverter according to the manual, and found a software update waiting. After installing it, the system resumed discharge within a few minutes. That was reassuring because I expected a major fault, yet it turned out to be a simple firmware glitch.

For me, predictable evening power is the real value; monthly bills feel calmer, and solar feels more useful.
