That was a useful reminder that storage capacity is not unlimited, and high-wattage appliances can empty it surprisingly fast.

Since then, I set a reserve level of 25% and keep heating loads off the backup circuit. I also check the solar battery monitoring app once or twice a week, mainly to confirm charging and discharge schedules are behaving. So far, this combination of self-consumption and backup.
