It was reassuring that the protection system kept operating safely, even while the app was confused.

I am not claiming this storage system eliminates electricity bills. Cloudy weeks still require grid energy, and battery capacity will gradually decline. Still, having backup power for short outages and using my own solar after sunset feels worthwhile. The lesson has been sizing the battery around evening use, not buying the largest.
