It is not a dramatic off-grid transformation, but saving $75 monthly feels very, especially since our air conditioner runs hard in July.

One evening the app showed the battery at 18 percent even though the forecast promised sun. I discovered a tripped breaker for the garage circuit, reset it, and watched charging resume normally. That small troubleshooting moment taught me not to panic at every warning notification. I also keep the critical-load list conservative; the battery backs up lights and refrigeration, not the whole house.
