For the first few weeks after installing my solar battery storage system, I kept checking the app every morning like it was a weather forecast. Since then, I have kept the minimum state of charge at 25% and enabled backup reserve mode. That gives me a little more confidence during storms.

What I appreciate most is that the battery works quietly in the background. I am not constantly changing settings or calculating savings; the energy monitor simply helps me run heavier loads when the sun is available. It has made solar power feel usable after sunset, not just something exported to the grid. Peak-hour savings and backup are my most practical benefit so far.
