That experience also taught me to keep a screenshot of normal settings and avoid making changes when the system is actively updating during a busy evening at home.

For anyone comparing systems, I would pay attention to usable capacity, warranty, and the control app, not just the headline battery size. “inverter rechargeable” is not a substitute for checking compatibility: your solar inverter and battery inverter need to communicate properly. Overall, storage has made our solar setup feel far more practical, with fewer expensive peak-hour kilowatt-hours bought from the grid.
