Replacing my old lead-acid battery with a LiFePO4 solar battery has been the most noticeable improvement I have made to my home energy setup. I installed a 10 kWh battery alongside my rooftop solar panels last spring, mainly to avoid buying expensive electricity during the evening peak.
The setup was easier than I expected.
