Running my home on solar power felt satisfying until I looked closely at the evening electricity charges. For me, the value is not total energy independence. It is using more of my solar electricity and avoiding the most expensive hours. The quiet LiFePO4 battery backup is reassuring, and the daily bill savings make the investment feel practical rather than futuristic.
