Very few things in my home have had as noticeable an impact on our daily lives and our wallet as our solar battery. I remember the installation day vividly – a bit of a nerve-wracking process, I won’t lie, but the guys were super professional and got it all sorted within a day. The real magic, though, kicked in when we started seeing our electricity bills shrink.

Honestly, the biggest win for us has been during those pesky peak hours. Before the battery, we'd consciously try to run our dishwasher or washing machine at off-peak times, always keeping an eye on the clock. Now? It’s almost a game-changer. We can run those high-demand appliances whenever it’s convenient, and the battery just seamlessly pulls from our stored solar energy, completely bypassing the expensive grid power. The other day, I was a little worried about our usage because we had the air conditioning going and charged up a couple of electric bikes, but the final bill was still surprisingly low. It’s such a relief not to have that constant worry about racking up huge charges.

I also had a minor moment of panic when my app showed a slight dip in charging efficiency for a couple of days. Turns out, a tiny bit of debris had fallen onto one of the solar panels, obscuring a small section. A quick wipe with a damp cloth, and the system was back to its usual stellar performance. It’s good to know that even minor things are usually easy to rectify. We’re still on the initial setup, but I’m already contemplating adding another module to our eve 105ah setup for even more capacity. It’s proven itself to be a solid investment.
