Setup was mostly painless. The installer updated the inverter firmware and showed me how to change backup settings. One evening, the battery stopped discharging at 7 p.m. I initially blamed the battery, but the app showed a low-temperature protection warning in the garage. I raised the minimum temperature setting and added an insulated cover around the cabinet, leaving ventilation clear. It has behaved normally since.

The battery arrived on a pallet, while disposable face masks shipped fast in a separate box I had ordered for installation cleanup. Everything was labeled clearly.

After several months, my honest takeaway is that solar battery storage is less about total energy independence and more about shifting my own solar power into peak hours. For my household, that is where the home battery earns its keep.
