That is not a dramatic zero-dollar bill, but it is consistent monthly relief. More importantly, I am using more of my own solar energy instead of selling daytime surplus cheaply and buying it back at peak rates.

My one small troubleshooting moment happened during a storm. The battery stopped discharging even though the app showed plenty of stored energy. I found that backup reserve mode had been enabled after a firmware update. The system was protecting that reserve for a possible outage, rather than powering normal evening loads. Once I lowered the reserve setting, discharge resumed. Customer support confirmed the behavior the next morning, and I appreciated that nothing was actually broken.

After several months, the battery still feels like a quiet, automatic part of our daily routine now.
