The savings have been most noticeable on weekdays. Our utility bill fell by roughly $110 in the first full month, despite similar cooking, laundry, and air conditioning habits. It is not a perfect number every month because cloudy weather still reduces charging. On sunny days, the battery often supplies nearly all evening demand, and I see very little grid consumption before midnight.

One small troubleshooting moment happened during a storm. The battery stopped discharging, and the app displayed a communication warning. I checked the cables and found the internet router had restarted. After reconnecting it, the inverter and battery synchronized within a few minutes. Nothing was wrong with the storage unit, but that experience taught me to keep the gateway on a small UPS.

What I appreciate most is the practical control. I can schedule charging, prioritize solar self-consumption, and reserve backup capacity without guessing.
