I did have one small troubleshooting moment. During the first week, I noticed the battery was not discharging after sunset even though the app showed a healthy state of charge. I checked the inverter settings and found the time-of-use schedule had the wrong clock after a firmware update. I corrected the time zone, restarted the system, and watched the power-flow screen. Within a few minutes, the house switched from grid power to battery power. Since then, I check the app once or twice a week, mostly out of curiosity rather than concern.

For me, the real value is quieter evenings, predictable energy use, and less dependence on utility rate increases. The solar battery simply does its job.
