My peak rate is about 34 cents per kWh, so the battery saves me around $4.40 on a typical weekday. Across the month, plus solar self-consumption, my bill fell by roughly $70 to $95. It is not a magic zero bill, but the difference is obvious.
I did have one small troubleshooting moment in the first week. The battery stopped discharging at 27% state of charge, even though the app showed plenty of available energy. I found the inverter had a low reserve setting enabled for backup power. After raising the usable discharge limit with my electrician, the system behaved normally. I kept a 25% reserve afterward, which still gives us lights and refrigerator during a short outage.
What I appreciate most is the ordinary practicality. I do not have to think about the battery every day; it automatically follows the solar forecast and electricity tariff. I check the monitoring app once a week because I enjoy the charge cycles. For my home, this solar energy storage has been a quiet bill-cutting upgrade rather than a complicated gadget.
