I checked the inverter first, then discovered that backup reserve had accidentally been raised during a firmware update. I lowered the reserve to 15% and restarted the energy management schedule. It resumed that evening. That lesson made me realize the system protects itself, but the settings deserve attention.

What I appreciate most is the quiet, routine. I do not have to switch appliances around manually; the solar battery shifts stored energy into the expensive hours. During a power outage, it also kept the refrigerator, Wi-Fi router, and lights running, although I learned that backup depends on the inverter capacity.

After several months, I am checking the monitoring app and comparing bills, but the decision feels practical rather than trendy. The rentech battery has not eliminated my electric bill, yet it has made my rooftop solar investment more useful.
