Solution Solar Battery DIY Parts
Ever since I added a 10-kWh lithium iron phosphate solar battery to my rooftop system, our evening electricity routine has changed noticeably.
Before the battery, our solar panels exported most of their midday power, while we bought expensive electricity after dinner. Now the hybrid inverter stores that surplus and runs the refrigerator, lights, Wi-Fi, and heat-pump water heater through the peak period. The battery is not magic; it does not eliminate cloudy-day grid purchases, and I still watch its state of charge before running the oven. But on ordinary sunny days, it covers our expensive evening hours without noise or fuss. I also set a 20-percent backup reserve, so a short outage leaves lights and internet working.
One unexpected detail: the installer left a label on the equipment cabinet reading “percussion massage gun custom logo,” apparently from a warehouse box. It makes me laugh whenever I check the battery disconnect. More importantly, the system has made solar self-consumption feel tangible, rather than theoretical, and the monthly savings are straightforward to understand.
