I installed a 10 kWh LiFePO4 battery bank beside my inverter last autumn, mainly to stop buying expensive electricity after sunset. Cloudy days mean I save the battery for dinner.
For me, the biggest win is not energy independence marketing; it is quieter evenings and a noticeably smaller bill without changing our routine. I am considering adding another battery module before summer, but I want another season of data first. The current solar storage setup already feels practical, predictable, and worth the hands-on effort.
