That is roughly $60-$70 saved each month, although the exact amount depends on cloudy days and utility rates.

One small troubleshooting moment happened in August.
The app showed the battery at 100% while solar production was still high, and I noticed it had stopped charging.
I checked the inverter and found a conservative backup setting limiting the charge rate.
After changing that setting, the battery resumed charging within a few minutes.
Customer support confirmed nothing was wrong, and explained that the system was protecting itself from excess voltage.

That reassurance made me comfortable leaving the battery on automatic mode, without constantly second-guessing its behavior during evenings.
