Solution Solar Inverter
Nearly six months ago, I added a 10kWh lithium iron phosphate solar battery to the rooftop system at my home. Before that, my panels produced enough energy during daylight, but I still bought expensive electricity every evening. The battery changed that routine immediately. My inverex inverter charges it from solar after breakfast, then switches the house to battery power around sunset. We use it for lights, fans, the refrigerator, Wi-Fi, and television until bedtime.
The biggest surprise has been how visible the peak-hour savings are on my bill. In the first full month, our usage from the grid fell by roughly 180 units, mostly because the battery covered cooking and cooling between 6 and 10 p.m. My bill dropped from about 31,000 rupees to 18,500, although weather and family routines obviously vary. I am not pretending the battery eliminated the bill; cloudy days still require grid electricity, and I sometimes reserve charge for an evening outage. Still, watching the meter barely move during the expensive hours feels genuinely satisfying. The solar battery also gives me quieter backup than our old generator, without fuel, fumes, or starting noise.
One small troubleshooting moment reminded me that storage is not completely hands-off. After a particularly hot day, the inverter showed a battery temperature warning and stopped charging. I checked the app, found the battery cabinet warmer than usual, and cleared leaves blocking airflow around the outdoor enclosure. I also cleaned dust from the ventilation area and restarted the system only after it cooled. The warning did not return. Now I keep the cabinet shaded, leave space around it, and glance at the monitoring screen each morning. That five-minute check has become part of my routine.
For me, predictable evening savings matter more than impressive specifications, and this battery has earned its place here.
