Using my huawei luna battery for the eight months has changed the way I think about our electricity bill. Each evening, I check the app and see the battery charging from our solar panels during the afternoon. Once the sun goes down, I run the house from stored energy instead of buying expensive power from the grid.
The biggest difference appears between 4:00 and 9:00 p.m. That’s when our utility rate jumps, and that’s also when we cook dinner, run the dishwasher, and use the heat pump.
