I checked the breaker, restarted the inverter, and discovered the backup output setting had been disabled after a firmware update. Re-enabling it solved the problem immediately. Since then, I have kept automatic updates off until I can verify the settings. That small lesson made me appreciate having a simple energy monitor instead of relying solely on the phone app.
In daily use, I rarely notice the system anymore, which is telling. It switches between solar charging, battery discharge, and grid power quietly. I still avoid running the dryer late at night, but normal household routines feel unchanged. For me, that's real value.
