I did have one moment in August. The battery stopped charging at 71%, even though the panels were producing normally. The app showed a protection warning. I checked the breaker, restarted the inverter, and waited ten minutes. Nothing changed. Customer support asked for a screenshot and pointed out that the bms had paused charging because the battery temperature sensor had reported an unusually high reading. After the unit cooled, it resumed automatically and has worked normally since. I appreciated that the bms prevented charging rather than forcing a fault reset.
My practical complaint is that the app sometimes updates slowly, so the displayed state of charge can lag by several minutes. Still, my solar self-consumption is noticeably higher, and I rely much less on expensive grid power. For anyone considering storage, I would prioritize accurate peak-rate scheduling and a responsive support team over flashy features. That is where I have felt the real value: not in a perfect dashboard, but in smaller bills and a quieter evening routine.
