Using my solar battery after sunset has changed the way I think about electricity bills. My installer paired it with an auto inverter and a simple phone app. Setup took most of a morning. I did have one minor scare. One morning, the app showed “offline” and the battery was not discharging. I checked the breaker and found the dedicated communications switch had been bumped while we stored bicycles. A quick reset brought the solar battery back online, and the inverter resumed normal operation. Since then, I have left the switch covered. For me, the biggest win is predictable power.
