I mention it because I initially assumed any charger would work with a 48V lithium battery. That was a mistake: voltage, charging profile, and battery management system compatibility matter. I now use the manufacturer-approved equipment and check connections rather than improvising.

My only troubleshooting moment came during a power outage. The battery showed 100%, but the backup outlets were dead. I found the inverter had remained in grid mode after a firmware update. A restart restored backup power, and support later helped me lock the setting. Since then it has switched smoothly during two outages and kept our refrigerator, router, and a few lights running.
