4kWh lithium battery has made the biggest difference to my small rooftop solar setup. Before installing it, I watched afternoon power disappear into the grid while my panels were still producing. Savings vary with weather: cloudy weeks leave less stored energy, and winter heating uses it quickly. Still, the peak-hour savings feel practical rather than theoretical.
I had one minor troubleshooting moment during a storm. The app showed a communication warning, so I restarted the gateway, checked cables, and service returned normally.
