During three cloudy days in a row, the battery still reserved enough energy for overnight essentials because I set a 25% backup reserve. One evening, I accidentally changed that setting to 10% while exploring the battery monitoring app. The next morning, the house had switched to grid earlier than expected. I restored the reserve, and it has behaved normally since. I check settings once every week.
