What 18.23 kWh of battery storage can actually run
18.23 kWh is 356 Ah at 51.2 V, and the GP-SR1-18K discharges to 100% depth of discharge, so almost all of that energy is usable. One module covers a day of solar self-consumption or several nights of backup for essential loads — and 8.7 kW of continuous output lets it supply them all at once.
- Overnight backupA fridge draws about 1–1.5 kWh a day; with lighting, router, TV and boiler controls an average night is around 3 kWh — one module covers several nights without recharging.
- Daily solar self-consumptionA typical European household uses 8–15 kWh a day. One 18.23 kWh module stores that day’s surplus PV and gives it back after sunset.

How much energy does the GP-SR1-18K store?
18.23 kWh total energy, from 16 series prismatic LiFePO4 cells at 356 Ah and 51.2 V nominal. It is rated for 100% depth of discharge, so nearly the whole figure is usable, and it delivers up to 8.7 kW continuously.
Is the GP-SR1-18K a 48V battery?
Yes. It is a 51.2 V nominal battery (16 LiFePO4 cells in series) with an operating range of 44.8 – 57.6 V, which is the 48V class used by hybrid inverters, all-in-one ESS units and 48V off-grid systems.
How many GP-SR1-18K units can I connect in parallel?
Up to 16 units with the JK BMS, or up to 63 units with the PC BMS — roughly 292 kWh with 16 modules and over 1 MWh with 63. Units communicate over RS485/CAN so the bank behaves as one battery. Series connection is not supported.
