The GP-PC200B BMS supports CAN and RS485 communication, so the kit integrates with mainstream hybrid solar inverters (Victron, Deye, Goodwe, Growatt, etc.) in lithium battery mode via the BMS communication cable.

If your inverter has no BMS communication input, simply configure it in lead-acid (manual) mode — no communication is required:

The bundled PC200B display screen needs no DC-DC converter — it is handled by the display wiring harness. The optional WIFI module lets you monitor cell voltages, temperature, and SOC remotely from your phone or PC.

Known PC200B protection behaviors (and fixes):

• Dynamic Minimum SOC: if the battery is not fully charged for several days, the BMS raises a dynamic minimum discharge SOC (default 10% → 50% after 4 days → 70% after 8 days), which can force DCL to 0A on Victron systems. Reset: fully charge the battery, or set Min SOC to 5% or lower in the BMS host software.
• SOC accuracy: perform a full charge to 100% at least once a month to keep SOC readings calibrated and prevent drift.
• Active balancer: if you add an external 4A active balancer, set the balancer start voltage to 500 in the host software to avoid "battery imbalance" or premature charge-termination alarms.

Yes. The kit uses a server-rack modular architecture and is parallel-ready — expand from 16kWh → 32kWh → 48kWh+ for residential solar ESS, backup power, off-grid, and commercial & industrial storage.

Parallel connection rules:

• Same capacity packs only: packs of different capacities (e.g. 15kWh vs 16kWh, or 280Ah vs 314Ah builds) must not be connected in parallel
• PC-to-PC parallel: new and older PC200/PC200B versions can be paralleled using the dip switch (DIP) setting for parallel mode
• SOC consistency: after paralleling, fully charge all packs to 100% regularly (at least monthly). Leaving packs uncharged for long periods causes noticeable SOC differences between packs.
• Avoid mixing different cell types or versions (e.g. EVE 280Ah V1 with V3 or 314Ah) in the same system to protect pack consistency and lifespan.
