Powering my home with a battery has changed the way I think about electricity bills. Before installing the sp2000 growatt 51.2V Battery, I used solar mostly during daylight and sent a lot of surplus power back to the grid. The installation itself was less dramatic than I expected. The most useful feature is seeing the energy flow in near-real time. I can tell whether the panels are charging the battery or whether the house is drawing stored energy. One small troubleshooting moment happened after a firmware update: the app showed the battery at 100% all afternoon, although solar production was modest. I restarted the inverter and checked the communication cable, then contacted the installer. It turned out the app display was delayed, not the battery itself. Since then, readings have been consistent, and the lithium battery has quietly done its job every night.
