Keeping the lights on after sunset used to be the part of solar power I worried about most. I did have one troubleshooting moment in the second week. The app showed the battery at 18% even though the inverter displayed 31%. I restarted the monitoring gateway, checked the communication cable, and the readings matched within a few minutes. Since then it has been uneventful.
For me, the biggest win is predictable peak-hour savings. I am using more of my solar energy at home, and the lower bill makes the battery storage investment feel practical rather than theoretical.
