Solution Solar Inverter -
Solution LiFePO4 Battery Cell
I installed my solar battery last spring after watching our electricity bills climb through every summer. I chose a sinopoly battery because the quoted capacity fit our modest rooftop solar system and the price was manageable. The installer finished the wall-mounted setup in one day, including a hybrid inverter, monitoring app, and a backup circuit for the refrigerator, router, and a few lights.
The biggest difference has been peak-hour usage. Before storage, our utility charged us heavily between four and nine in the evening, when we were cooking and running the heat pump. Now the battery charges from excess solar around midday and carries the house through dinner. On clear days, I often reach bedtime with 20–30% remaining, so we buy very little grid power during the expensive window.
Our monthly bill has dropped from roughly $190 to $105 over the warmer months. It is not a perfect comparison because weather and rates change, but the savings are obvious. I especially like seeing the app show solar generation, household load, battery state of charge, and grid import in real time. That feedback helped me shift laundry and dishwashing into sunny hours instead of guessing.
I had one brief hiccup: the app showed an inverter communication warning, and the battery would not discharge overnight. I power-cycled the gateway, checked the cable, and restarted the inverter. Support later confirmed a firmware update had interrupted communication.
For me, the solar battery has been less about complete energy independence and more about making solar power useful after sunset. The backup circuit gives peace of mind during outages, while daily peak shaving provides the practical return I notice personally at home every single month.
